Holy Snow!! Most snow in NC EVER!!! (on record at least!)

Well, we've been home for 3.5 days. In the house. Because we've been snowed in! I haven't been snowed in since I was in 3rd grade and lived in Rexburg and we couldn't open the back door because the snow was up to the roof!  Now, "snowed in" means something totally different in NC than it does out West.  There are just not public facilities to handle snow accumulation because it happens so rarely.  I don't mind, I have loved the snow. We have been fortunate though, Tim has been
working from home, the girls have been home, and we've got enough food to keep us here for a few more days easily. We haven't had power outage like so many people, and we've been together. So, really it has been quite enjoyable!! Happy Valentine's Snow day!!

Tuesday the girls got out of school early, and the snow came and went in a few hours. I thought "that was silly, there isn't even any snow!" Well, then it started after dinner on Tuesday and kept coming! It was all snowy and wet on Wednesday then on Thursday was awesome snowball/snowman snow and playing snow and we all got a good turn getting exhausted in the snow. It was so much fun!!

Now it's been a while since I've done a slide show, and things have changed, but here is my attempt, so I don't have to copy all the pictures onto the blog one at a time.  Here is one of our house all snowed in up to the door. Snowed in and Paisley playing in the snow, building snowmen, and snow falling down. We've had lots of fun!  Click on the links to see all the photos, but here is a sampling! And some videos here too.
