Fun in the ... SNOW!

We had so much fun up in Flagstaff last weekend. There was snow and so much fun! We were able to wrangle up some winter weather clothes for the kiddos and we bundled them up to play in the snow. The resort we stayed at had great access to a private sledding hill just the right grade for kids of all sizes. A good time was had by all! Highlights from the trip:

• Excellent sled hill behind the condo
• perfect sled (after searching in Flagstaff at Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and eventually jackpotting at Bashas'-- who'd a' thunk?)
• good friends for sharing the hike back up the hill (thanks Tara, Rob!)
• Ice skating at Flagstaff public rink
  
• Hot chocolate every 4 hours
• push button fire in fireplace
• guitar hero
• the game of life... need I say more
  
• awesome food prepared by the resident chef Tim (I swear he better open his restaurant "Taco Tim's Enchilada Palace serving whatever you feel like!)
• Less than stellar beds- the kids had the best bed in the place! It is good to be home to our bed!
• Hannah Montana on I pod doc and Emma and Audrey rocking out to "Best of both worlds"
• Having time off of work and away from home to spend quality time with them.
• Emma saying, "we can do this again after next Christmas Mom!" after seeing me shed some tears on the thought of leaving to go home.
• Only 2 1/2 hours from snow to our doorstep.
