We heard great news. No, we heard AMAZING AWESOME news today!!
We found out we are qualified to get a mortgage and buy another house! We feel like we are finally out of our home purchasing "time-out" so to speak, but the irony is in that fact that we are happy we can get a "mortgage" which means literally "pledge of death." Tim is in Charlotte working now during the week and the weeks feel pretty long without him.
The prospect of a new house means so much. We have been in a waiting place, and it has been hard, but so good for us. This life experience is a journey, and there are bumps, hills, broken bridges, flat tires, pot holes and the like, but there are also beautiful people, wonderful places and amazing experiences to be enjoyed. We have grown so much as a family through this experience. Though I wouldn't wish it on anyone, I know that our Heavenly Father knows what we need to experience to become our best selves here in this mortal experience, and because of that, I wouldn't trade our difficulties for anything. I wouldn't trade it because with it came the strength and testimony that only would have been gained through hard times.
We are so excited to find our new home and make it ours and dig into life yet again. We want to make friends, serve people, make a difference and be happy. All of which we have been doing, but now we will be doing it in our own place. Our. Own. Place.
Ahhhhh.
