Harper Halloween 2013

 Happy Halloween!!
We went out Trick-or-treating around 6, and there was no one else out, so we went home and snacked on some nachos and waited until 6:30, and we were still some of the first kiddos out roaming the streets.  We went with
our neighbor, Emma's friend Elise and we went around for about an hour before Kennedy and Audrey were ready to be done and go home and enjoy their spoils.  I dropped them off at 7:30 at home with Tim and wend back out with Emma and Elise to do another lap around the neighbor hood the other direction.  At about 8, Emma gave me her shoes because she was starting to get blisters. (Note: be sure to plan the costume around COMFORTABLE shoes next year!!) She finished the last half hour and 1 mile barefoot, but she was motivated to fill her bag. And she did! She collected 9 pounds of candy herself!!

We didn't even give out half of our candy bag, but we are up in a cul-de-sac and off the main "loop". So we have our collections and our lack of distribution to total 19 pounds of candy in our house this morning!!

Good memories for Halloween this year, our second and last Halloween in Georgia. Who knows, we may be back, but for now this was the last. It was beautiful weather, cloudy, 70 degrees, no wind, just beautiful.
 Gutting the Pumpkins

  Little Devil Emma!
 Yum!!
Some of the cookies we decorated. The girls ate the ones they decorated.
All of us ready to go out on the street! I wore the witch hat, Audrey was also a witch/vampire, Kennedy the Sassy Kitty, Emma the devil, and Elise the skeleton.

And the spoils of the night. All 19 pounds of it!!!

Happy Halloween!
