Happy 15th Anniversary!!

We have been married for how many years?!?  Well, the first few I was able to keep track of, but since kids came along, well the last 11 have just slid by! I am so thankful for Tim and the wonderful man and example he is to me. I anticipate lots of adventures in the years to come!!

We were able to get away to the beach this past weekend because Jill Harper has been staying with us for the last few weeks, and before she continued on her US road-tour, she willingly entertained the girls while Tim and I scooted to Savannah, GA and Charlestons SC for the weekend.  It was much needed  and just wonderful!

Here are just some pictures of the places we
went and explored!

This is Angel Oak just outside of Charleston on John's Island. It was closed, so our pictures were limited, but it was awe-inspiring to see such an amazing bit of nature.
The light inside Tybee Island light house. Such a tiny bulb to light up miles out into the ocean!
The view from the top of the light house. I was terrified, felt like I was falling, even thought I was leaning up against the tower the whole time I was up there.
The light house. Every light house has it's own paint scheme, so during the day, they can be identified. I learned a lot and light houses are so amazing!
Ummm, some of the yummies from Savannah's Candy Kitchen. Getting good ideas for Christmas candy!
This was on the waterfront on River Street in Savannah. It was such a fun walk, beautiful day, and lots of great people watching! Tim was a good sport to put up with the crowds!
Inside the amazing Cathedral of John the Baptist. So ornate, and the stained glass was gorgeous.
A poor quality pic of us outside the cathedral.. oh well~!
Some of the trees at Wormsloe plantation with all the spanish moss just dripping from every branch. It was so old world-ish and beautiful.
The 1.5 mile drive to Wormsloe, lined with oak trees over 200 years old. Wow! Wow!
Eating at The Crab Shack, and it was amazing, with amazing views as seen below, and great food, no rush, and wonderful company!
We needed this trip to get back on the same page, and it was just perfect!  There was even a fireworks show on Saturday night just for us right outside our hotel window!!
