Emma had a field trip to Myrtle Beach, SC on Wednesday, March 26. I was able to go as a chaperone, and it was a great day! Myrtle Beach is about 4 hours from Huntersville, so we arrived at the school
at 4:40 am and the charter buses pulled out at 5:00 am sharp. We arrived at Wonderworks (the upside-down house) which was really fun! There are lots of info/activities for the kids to do and explore. Emma was photographer for the trip. I took a few pics, but hers turned out so much better. I was so impressed with her! Every parent (okay, maybe just this parent) wants to be a discreet "fly on the wall" to see how their kids behave among their peers. She was a gem among her friends. She got along with everyone, did not whine once, despite being tired, didn't beg for souvenirs and was complimentary in every way she spoke. I was so pleased. I had such a great time with her.
Two Beauties!!
This is the upside down house, pretty self explanatory!! Emma's best friend she's made here in NC, Ava, and she was as well behaved as Emma. So glad to see clean, respectful kids.
This is at the Ripley's Aquarium where we spent the afternoon.
This is the whole class after dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe just before loading up to head home.
Bed of Nails... Only hurt, a little bit.
Giant Bubbles!!
Emma the Astronaut!
The upside down house view from the "boardwalk" on the way to the aquarium.
The catfish looked like they could eat the seagulls!!
Emma is so cute no matter what!!
